How do i link my mobile to my PAN in upstox
@SANTHANAM_20486248 - In order to link your mobile number with your PAN for your Upstox account, please follow the steps below:
- Verify mobile number linked with PAN:
- As per government guidelines, your PAN must already be linked with your Aadhaar and have an active mobile number registered on the Income Tax portal.
- You can check this on the official Income Tax website: https://www.incometax.gov.in/.
- If your PAN is already linked with your current mobile number:
- The same number automatically reflects in your Upstox account during KYC verification, as details are fetched directly from the Income Tax database.
- No separate linking is required from your end.
- If you want to update or change the mobile number linked to your PAN:
- You’ll need to update it first with NSDL or Income Tax Department.
- Visit https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/ → Select “Update PAN details” → Submit the new mobile number along with required ID proofs.
- Once the Income Tax database reflects your updated mobile number, it will automatically sync with your Upstox profile.
- If you want to update your registered mobile number with Upstox (for account access or alerts):
- Log in to the Upstox app → Go to Account → Profile → Personal details → Tap on Mobile number → Update and complete the OTP verification process.
If your request pertains to linking the mobile number with PAN for verification or KYC mismatch, please ensure your PAN database details are updated first, Upstox cannot manually override those government records.
